Your grandmother, Edna Ruth Byler was mentioned in the Moody Bible Inst. Today in the Word yesterday, July 24,2010, as someone who helped start the fair trade movement. I was interested in finding out more about her, esp. with the last name Byler. My husband's family were Amish and came from PA. I graduated from Goshen College, the sister college of Heston in 1965.

What a great post! I can't wait to share it with my volunteers here at Ten Thousand Villages in Ottawa, Ontario.

Thank you so much Diane for sharing your memories of your grandmother. We tell her story many times here to volunteers and customers, so it is nice to find some more information.
